El brote de Covid 19 y el confinamiento al que la ciudadanía se vio obligada para cumplir con los protocolos sanitarios demostró que pese a la imposibilidad de asistir presencialmente a espacios de difusión de las culturas, las artes y el patrimonio, la comunidad se adaptó a los nuevos formatos digitales y eligió el cine, la música, la literatura, la danza y otras expresiones como sus principales vías de escape.
