The Festival of Migrant Literature returns to Palermo for its third edition from October 4-8 under the direction of journalist Davide Camarrone. Some 150 guests are expected to attend the festival that this year focuses on intercultural dialogue, contamination and the migratory nature of literature itself. The programme includes 100 events in over 15 locations around the Sicilian regional capital. On October 3, the day before the official opening, Palermo Mayor Leoluca Orlando will formally rename the road running along the ancient port of La Cala "Lungomare delle migrazioni".
