DIRECTOR OF FINANCE AND OPERATIONS

Reporting to the Director of the ICA, the Director of Finance and Operations is responsible for managing all aspects of the ICA''s financial, retail and operational affairs. This position is part of a senior management team, which includes the following positions Director, Director of Education, Director of External Relations, Curator and Project Director for the New ICA. This position staffs the Finance and Investment Subcommittee of the Board of Trustees to ensure fiscal stability. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following Develops major financial objectives and policies; Provides management team and Finance/Investment Committee with financial leadership and regular reports on financial results; Plans, develops, implements and monitors annual and multi-year budgets and projects year-end results; Coordinates all fiscal aspects of grant accounts; Maintains external relationships with banks, other financial institutions and government granting agencies; Manages Endowment fund assets, in conjunction with the Investment Committee, including investment and reporting requirements; Coordinates and supervises annual audit; Assures appropriate insurance coverage against property loss and potential liabilities; Negotiates, maintains and oversees all financial aspects of institutional contracts; Manages Human Resource functions including the development and maintenance of personnel policies, personnel benefits, affirmative action, ADA compliance; Administers and manages all ICA benefits packages and pensions plan; Supervises Facilities Department, including building maintenance, improvements, repairs; and cleaning for main facility and rental facility; Supervises Gallery Management and bookstore operations Qualifications Previous senior management experience required.
