An opportunity exists within Presenter Services for a motivated, industry professional to contribute to the long term viability and mission of the VAC by developing new programs in the venues, building existing and new relationships with presenters and using creative flair to develop opportunities that benefit the Arts Centre. The person chosen will have had a proven record of achievement in programming and running events that have demonstrated commercial and artistic success. Allied to this industry knowledge the person will be expected to bring a wide network of contacts who are interested in working with Australia’s most prominent venue and its national and international presenters to deliver programs that ensure our venues are full and that we benefit financially. A strong background in music across a diverse range of genres would be highly regarded as the VAC is particularly interested in developing work for the Melbourne Concert Hall and the Sidney Myer Music Bowl.
