The Rich Mix Cultural Foundation is establishing a £19m international arts, culture and heritage centre in the heart of the East End.
The Fundraising Director will be personally responsible for raising £2m in addition to the £13m already fully-pledged towards Rich Mix's capital appeal. Other funding will be sought from national arts agencies and funding bodies.
A revenue fundraising campaign will also be initiated to enable Rich Mix to deliver fully on all of its programming potential.
Rich Mix's supporters include the Mayor of London, The Millennium Commission, London Development Agency and London Borough of Tower Hamlets.
3. About The Rich Mix Cultural Foundation
Rich Mix will include visual arts and new media galleries, recording studios and rehearsal spaces, lecture theatres and a multi-screen cinema complex.
It will also provide a home for two leading arts training agencies, affordable work-spaces for cultural and business enterprise and a spectacular roof-space arts venue.
Over 250,000 visitors a year will strengthen the economy of one of the most deprived areas of London.
