St. Bonaventure University seeks a visionary, energetic and experienced leader to serve as Executive Director of its Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts. The Executive Director is a senior administrator who reports directly to the University President with responsibility for the overall artistic vision and strategic direction of The Quick Arts Center and all major fund raising for the Center. In consultation with the President on arts-related issues, the Executive Director works with the Arts Council to develop a national presence for arts programs at the University, while executing and implementing strategic planning for the Center. In consultation with University Advancement, the Executive Director is the chief development officer and fiscal manager for the Arts Center, with responsibility for fostering corporate sponsors and private donations, working with staff to obtain state, federal and foundation grants, and participating in the museum membership campaign and fund raising events. Excellent management and communication skills and the ability to coach and mentor professional staff are important qualities as the Executive Director is expected to have the ability to motivate and work with creative staff, faculty, students, volunteers and the regional community at large. Applicants are required to hold a master's degree in arts administration, art history, theater or related, and at least five year's experience in a leadership position at a similar organization.
