Up to 1 x full-time position (35 hours per week) and 1 x part-time position (17.5 hours per week). Contract up until 31 December 2002 Salary in range £21,660 - £25,617 pa (pay award pending) (Officer post range, spinal points 28 - 34) These posts were created with particular reference to the diverse infrastructure of production facilities, agencies and networks that support the creative practice of artists in London. They include studio management organisations, production facilities that include digital, photographic and film resources, printmaking and textile printing studios as well as training and information services for visual arts, craft and design. As a member of the Visual Arts team your role will take account of the units work in addressing the professional development and creative requirements of artists in all disciplines. This includes the development and presentation of new work, building better understanding of audiences, the management and maintenance of a sustainable fabric of buildings and agencies that deliver public programmes, and the growth of new partnerships with both commercial and public sector partners to sustain public interest, offer participatory and creative opportunities and maintain a vibrant visual arts sector in London.
