We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated person to take forward Stratford District Council's Arts Service which serves a large area of rural Warwickshire. Over the past few years the Arts has emerged as a key Council Service, helping to deliver the Council's Corporate Strategy on a number of fronts. We are now looking for someone who has the ability to continue developing the service. Key areas of work will be to look at renewing the Council's Arts Strategy and implementing aspects of the Council's Cultural Strategy. Work will also involve delivering key Arts Projects within the Council's 3 year agreement with West Midland Arts and establishing a new partnership with the Arts Council for the future. A passion for the Arts is essential along with experience of working with the Arts in local government. Experience of Community Arts would also be useful.
