The Cultural Arts Council of Houston and Harris County announces the search for a Director of Community Relations. This position, new to the agency, replaces the former deputy director position (now vacant). Responsibilities of the Director of Community Relations include fund development, marketing and communication, and managing projects that enable the Cultural Arts Council to further its services to the Greater Houston nonprofit arts industry. The ideal candidate has a strong commitment to and appreciation of the arts. Candidates with five or more years of experience in fundraising, development, institutional advancement, marketing or communications are encouraged to apply. The Cultural Arts Council of Houston and Harris County is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the Greater Houston nonprofit arts industry through public/private partnerships with the City of Houston, Harris County and the Texas Commission on the Arts. Our mission is to nurture, fund and promote participation of the arts in Houston and Harris County.
