CAW was formed in 1998 to provide "accessible and affordable arts facilities and opportunities" specifically for the community of South Leamington. CAW is a company limited by guarantee (not for profit) organised as a community co-operative. To date CAW has operated on a mainly voluntary basis with a small team of local community activists. Based in Leamington's old civic art gallery CAW is about to embark on a significant program of participatory community arts projects including the development of the gallery as a community media centre. To have responsibility for the day-to-day administration and accounting (including pay roll) of a community arts company working with the South Leamington community. Additionally you will work with the District and County Councils, West Midlands Arts, lotteries boards etc to raise income as appropriate to support CAWs activities. You will work with the project manager and be responsible to CAWs board of directors.
