Manage and care for 27,000 cultural and natural objects located new storerooms; participate in all aspects of coll. dept. work. Responsible registration; basic conservation and mounting; storage maintenance & improvements; plans for added storage; collections database (TMS); work on exhibit teams; manage Portable Collections loans. 3 FT-person dept. Requires MA; 3-5 yrs museum experience in all aspects of collections work a must; expertise in an area related to collections geology, biology, paleontology or cultural area (Africa, Asia, Oceania, Central/South America, Caribbean).
