The Center for Traditional Music and Dance is expanding its staff to include a separate Executive Director position. Responsibilities include: Direct fund raising and grant writing initiatives; Building relationships with funders, politicians, and the media; Developing and implementing annual budgets and organizational audits; Serving as the principal representative and spokesperson for the organization; Providing leadership and vision for the organization; Sustaining ongoing board development; Managing a staff of eight in cooperation with the Artistic Director and Project Directors, developing programs and activities of the organization. Qualifications Proven fund-raising ability from Government, Foundation, Individual and Corporate sources Proven managerial ability Knowledge of and passion for the traditional performing arts 5 years of experience with $1.5 M + annual budget Demonstrated leadership skills Familiarity with preparation and administration of annual budgets
