MHz Networks (formerly WNVC & WNVT) in Falls Church, Virginia has a new project requiring a full-time Associate Director/Arts Educator. This position requires an arts background in theatre, film and fine arts as well as experience in teaching. Position requires at least a BA in arts, education or media. Working closely with arts and educational partners, the Associate Director will teach in-school classes as well as assist in developing and refining the core methodology. This person is also responsible for coordinating teacher workshops, scheduling monthly teacher meetings, meeting with evaluators to organize and collate data and launching this new national model. Must have strong improvisational and ensemble skills for all aspects of the job. Position requires excellent written, verbal and computer skills. Relocation assistance not provided.
