Arts and Culture Program Analyst

The San Diego Foundation seeks an Arts and Culture Program Analyst to develop, lead, and manage the new Arts and Culture Program and to administer related projects. The successful candidate will manage The Foundation's Arts and Culture Grant Programs drawing on The Foundation's funds and related program funds. The successful candidate will engage and build partnerships for the Arts and Culture Program with fund advisors, local, regional, and national foundations, other organizations, and the donor community at large. The successful candidate will also convene members of the community around issues in arts and culture, provide detailed research, analysis, and proposed strategies to impact critical issues, and recruit, train, and manage a committee of community volunteers. Must have relevant and broad knowledge of arts and culture at local and national levels, including: successful trends, key leadership, techniques, effective networks, and successful models. Must have knowledge and understanding of San Diego's neighborhoods and diverse communities and a minimum five years experience in a private or community foundation or as an executive of a large not-for-profit organization. Bachelors Degree required and Graduate Degree in the area of arts and culture preferred.
