The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra seeks a Manager of Government and Foundation Support for its Development Department. Job Summary Responsible for the Foundation and Government Grants divisions of the Symphony Fund, as well as special project fundraising for the Arts Excel education program. Responsibilities include preparing and writing funding applications; identifying, researching, and cultivating new prospects; meeting with potential and current funders; supervising the administration of grants and contracts in the department; coordinating data and report writing; and other responsibilities, as needed. Reports to the Director of Corporate and Foundation Support. Job Requirements 2 or more years development, grant-writing experience; strong writing skills and attention to detail; strong interpersonal and organizational skills; Four-year college degree required.
