MANAGER, PATRONS PROGRAM AND INDIVIDUAL GIVING

Arts International seeks a Manager of Patrons Events and Individual Giving to plan and implement an annual calendar of events and fundraising activities that strategically supports the Arts International''s fundraising goals. In consultation with President and Board Development Committee, manages the logistics and execution of fundraising, cultivation, and special events for individual donors and prospects. Emphasis will be placed on events planning and coordination of international patrons'' trips, list management, individual donor tracking, and communication with individuals, board members, volunteers, and all levels of staff to ensure that development events are efficiently managed. The manager will also handle details of event planning and will coordinate all details of patrons'' travel. Develops printed materials for events. Coordinates event mailings and all other event communications. Accompany President and patrons on international trips and manage all details in coordination with outside agents and consultants. The Manager will also run a membership campaign. Activities will include an annual calendar of solicitations, coordination of mass mailings, prospecting to grow the membership program, and cultivating relationships with current members and donors Reports to President Supervises Interns, volunteers and part-time seasonal staff. Qualifications include Ability to communicate effectively with high-level decision makers, board members, and other top-level volunteers Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills Bachelor''s degree Development experience, preferably with event planning and/or membership experience Excellent strategic planning and organizational skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Strong customer service skills and ability to work as part of a team Strong computer literacy, including Word and Excel programs Conversational ability in a second language strongly receommended.
