decibel Visual Arts Showcase This position, based in Bristol, will run from October 2002 – December 2003 and will suit a freelance event manager or company. The decibel Visual Arts Showcase will feature a series of linked exhibitions, screenings and events reflecting a range of contemporary work by British-based African, Asian and Caribbean artists. The development of these projects will also involve artist residencies and opportunities for emerging curators, and will feature a three-day event in October 2003 aimed at professionals in the Visual Arts sector. The Event Manager will co-ordinate and deliver the activities of the Visual Arts Showcase. You will have proven experience of co-ordinating visual arts events and exhibitions and a strong knowledge and understanding of Culturally Diverse Arts.
