26 September 2002, Australia

The Land and People Program develops exhibitions, products and programs relating to Australian social and environmental history. It is one of three programs responsible for gallery changeover and redevelopment, collection development and temporary exhibitions, as well as contributing to other activities across the Museum. The Program has specific responsibility for the maintenance and development of the Museum’s Tangled Destinies and Eternity galleries and for programs relating to people and the environment. As Program Manager, you will assist the Program Director in the development and implementation of Land and People exhibitions and programs, including a series of temporary exhibitions; and represent the Museum in diverse contexts and forums. You will also be responsible for ensuring that employees are provided with sufficient supervision, instruction and equipment to enable them to perform their duties safely.
