Assistant Press and Marketing Officer

You will need the ability to multi-task since the role is busy and varied. It will range from organising press cuttings and direct mailings to liaising with journalists. You will also assist with marketing projects, database management and the distribution of our publicity material. Throughout, you will need to demonstrate a workable balance between teamwork and personal initiative. You will have at least a year's experience in a press and/or marketing environment, together with excellent administrative, organisational and IT skills. Besides a keen eye for detail, you will need good communication skills and a calm, authoritative manner which exudes tact and diplomacy. You should also have a demonstrable interest in the visual arts.
