The Arts Council of the Valley, based in Virginia s scenic Shenandoah Valley, is seeking a full-time director to develop and coordinate arts activities in a diverse, growing community (100,000+). Director will implement building community alliances, foster joint efforts in planning by arts organizations, and develop centralized funding and grant programs for the members. Candidates must possess strong budgeting, management, fundraising and membership development skills and have a proven track record of successful grant writing. Director will report to the board and work closely with full-time theater manager. Master s degree in the arts and/or business management or equivalent experience highly desired.
