The purpose of this announcement is to alert the Search Committee to potential applicants in order that their work might be seen in the course of the next few months if that is possible. Further particulars including job description will be available when formal applications are sought by advertisement in February 2003. The appointment will be made in May in expectation that duties will be taken up in November. Applicants who do not wish to, or are unable to, express an interest at this stage will not be prejudiced in the formal appointment procedures.
