The City of Palm Desert is seeking an experienced professional to assist with the coordination and monitoring of the City's Art in Public Places program. Coordinate the review process for the community arts program, including community participation and artist selection; oversee installation and deinstallation of art projects; assist the Public Arts Manager in the coordination of public art acquisition and maintenance, construction, art gallery exhibits, rotating sculpture exhibit, and special events; assist the Public Arts Manager in coordinating and implementing the development and administration of the community arts program budget; manage the development of all promotional items for the Art in Public Places Program including website and print media. Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Urban Design or a related field is desirable.
