Corporate Affairs Total Remuneration up to $45,300pa consisting of annual salary ($36,817-$39,737) and employer's superannuation contribution. The Secretariat Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Secretariat in providing support to the Council, which is the key decision-making body of the Australia Council. The Council is responsible for determining priorities and providing a policy and budget framework within which the Boards and the advisory bodies operate. The Corporate Affairs Division provides a collection of internal support functions and services to maximise the organisational capability to achieve its corporate goals. This role is responsible for organising venue, catering and travel arrangements for Council meetings, compiling and dispatching Council papers, and general secretarial and administrative duties within Corporate Affairs. The successful applicant will have knowledge of financial and administration procedures and processes and will have demonstrated organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. They will also be able to exercise sound judgment and deal appropriately with sensitive and confidential matters. The position requires highly developed interpersonal, client service and communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a small dynamic team.
