Responsibilities includes lobbying and influencing European institutions and relevant bodies, organise lobby activities in co-operation with national library & archive organisations, monitor and analyse proposed legislation and develop strategies to promote the interests of EBLIDA members, organise events, EBLIDA Council and Executive Committee meetings, the promotion of EBLIDA including publications and website, to ensure EBLIDA representation at conferences and events and financial management of the association including funding. Direct and co-ordinate EBLIDA activities including the EBLIDA secretariat
