The Victoria and Albert Museum is Britain's national museum of art and design, and one of the greatest museums of the decorative arts in the world. We are looking for a talented arts educator with sound management experience to head our Learning Department. You will lead teams providing education services for schools, colleges, families, young people, and adults at a time of exciting development in these fields. You will have a relevant degree, along with an education qualification and extensive knowledge of the learning needs of a wide range of museum audiences. Having worked for a major museum, you will be experienced in the principles and practice of education in the museum and gallery sector, including the designing of galleries for learning. You will have proven administrative and management skills across a wide range of museum projects and an energetic hands-on approach, with the ability to be flexible and balance many conflicting demands.
