The European Forum for Arts and Heritage (EFAH) is an international organisation with 70 institutional members, serving as an information resource and debate and advocacy platform on cultural policies at the European level. The Executive Board seeks a Coordinator (M/W, 1.0 FTE) The Coordinator is the key representative of EFAH towards cultural organisations, NGO’s and the European decision makers. She/he supervises the Executive Office, located in Brussels, and is an intermediary between the Executive Committee and the members. EFAH is engaged in an institutional development process in which the successful candidate is expected to play a key role. Applicants should have university education, leadership qualities and managerial skills, be fluent in English and French and be computer literate and comfortable with public appearance, representation and advocacy tasks. Analytic and strategic capacities and intercultural competence are expected. Minimum 5 years of appropriate experience and knowledge of EU political set up and cultural world. The function demands irregular working hours and frequent travels. Salary starting from: eur 2.800 – but subject to applicants’ profile and experience. Initially a one-year appointment will be made, with possible extension.
