English National Opera is at an exciting and challenging time in its development as it moves forward under new artistic leadership. Its home, the London Coliseum, a Grade II* listed building, is undergoing major refurbishment and this will offer greatly enhanced facilities when the restored building opens in January 2004. We are looking for an energetic individual with drive and imagination to lead the Development team to increase financial support for the company from individuals, trusts and foundations, and corporate organisations. Reporting initially to the Acting Executive Director, the successful candidate will be a member of the Senior Management Team and will also collaborate with the Chairman and Board of ENO. Applicants should have a minimum of five years' experience directing successful major campaigns, highly developed leadership skills, and be business orientated and socially skilled at all levels. Enthusiasm for the arts is essential.
