ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF DANCE – The University of Miami Department of Theatre Arts invites applications for a tenure-track appointment in Dance to begin August 15, 2003. Responsibilities include teaching courses in the BFA program and occasionally the BA program as well as serving as director or choreographer as needed for production assignments. Candidate must be able to demonstrate national recognition. Qualifications: MFA, five years professional theatre experience, and a minimum of three years of relevant university teaching. Applicant may teach dance, musical theatre styles and choreography. Applicant should include a written philosophy of dance training, vitae, and three current letters of reference.
