Resource, the UK's Council for Museums, Archives and Libraries, has released its report on museum standards outside the United Kingdom. Report authors Timothy Mason and Jane Weeks prepared the document as a follow-up to a 2001 Resource project, which mapped UK standards and guidelines relevant to the museums, archives and libraries sector. The report aims to build on the previous study by considering how any of the standards and guidelines could be relevant to Resource's registration scheme, and by carrying out a similar mapping exercise of overseas museum schemes.
