Effective, charismatic leader needed to serve sa Executive and Creative Director of award-winning Queens-based NYC arts institution in landmark facility, with budget of 1.5M, staff of 17, 80 volunteers, and active board of directors. This seasoned arts generalist must have experience and sensitivity in serving the needs of artists and arts organizations of diverse backgrounds through strategic alliances with NY cultural institutions, businesses, governmental agencies and local community organizations. Candidate must have established creative programming ability in visual and performing arts, as well as outstanding managerial and communciation skills. Other responsibilities include working with board of directors to implement a strategic plan and capital expansion. Knowledge of NYC economic development needs and role of cultural and tourism development essential.
