School of Arts and Humanities Ref: 112/13674/SK Initially, this is a one-year fixed-term appointment, possibly renewable. You will be: *establishing an exciting and innovative collaboration between the University, Southern and South East Arts, Oxford City Council and Oxford County Council *identifying arts-related needs in the community *setting up cross-disciplinary seminars *bidding for funding and establishing pilot projects *assisting in the development of a University policy of arts and culture *collaborating with the partnership developing Oxford's bid to be European Capital of Culture in 2008 You will have: *a degree or equivalent *experience of working in an arts or educational context *excellent time management, advocacy, communication and presentation skills *the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team a willingness to occasionally work outside office hours. Please note: The successful applicant will need to be subject to a background check by the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) before any appointment can be confirmed.
