The Arts Council of Ireland has announced that Seamus Crimmins will join the organisation on a temporary secondment during April. Occupying the new role of Arts Policy Director, Crimmins will be responsible for overseeing the council’s Arts Policy Department, which provides specialist arts knowledge and advice, as well as communications, research and information. In line with efforts to provide a range of development supports to the arts sector, the council is undergoing a comprehensive staff restructuring.
