1. Act as lead officer for a portfolio of clients, assist with the assessment, monitoring and review of the programmes, management and cost-effectiveness of the clients in receipt of ACW grants. 2. Participate in area officers team and decision-making meetings for the purposes of co-ordinating ACW activity within the area and identifying strategic issues. 3. Participate in a cross-Wales team on an area of specialist expertise, for example, drama. 4. Process and advise on grant applications from the portfolio of clients, and report decisions made and to be made to the Local Committee. 5. Monitor the revenue clients’ and project funded activity, and report on targets in line with ACW strategy. 6. Contribute to the evaluation and formulation of advice on revenue grant applications. Annually appraise the portfolio of revenue clients and monitor funding agreements in line with strategic targets. 7. Process and advise on applications to ACW schemes and projects, and report to the Local Committee. 8. Provide advice and information to local organisations regarding ACW schemes and services, other sources of support and development plans. 9. Prepare reports, as required, for the team, for the Local Committee and working groups. 10. Undertake any other duties which may be reasonably delegated by the Director.
