Belize and Mexico discuss co-operation and exchange

An historic meeting between Belize and Mexico was held recently, as part of an effort to seek more co-operation and exchange between the two countries. According to the Office of the Prime Minister in Belize, the ties between Belize and the State of Quintana Roo in Mexico go beyond political respect and friendship. Both Belize and Quintana Roo have influenced the make-up of cultural features and established a spirit of solidarity in the daily lives of their people. Among the recommendations made as a result of the Bilateral Roundtable meeting, was support for the continuation of the Mexico-Belize Friendship Fair, which has been held in Belize over the past several years.
