The new post will support the work of UK FILM COUNCIL, the Film Export Group (FEG), and the work of the Director of the International Department. The post holder will help to develop, manage and deliver a programme of projects and initiatives to support and promote export development to key territories, in liaison with the Director of International, the International and the Communications Departments, the British Film Commissioner, the members of the FEG, key industry players in those markets, and the UK agencies (Trade Partners, British Council, Foreign and Commonwealth Office) in Britain and their offices abroad. In addition the post holder will assist to develop and manage relationships in key territories and deliver a series of programmes to maintain relationships already established by the International Department (e.g. missions to key territories, development of co-partnership relationships). The post holder will be based at the UK FILM COUNCIL offices in London, but may need to spend periods of time abroad in key territories.
