The Department of Art History seeks to appoint a Chair in Art History to build on our recent expansion. The successful candidate will have an outstanding portfolio of research and teaching in art history/visual culture, of professional activities, publications and awards. Candidates should be able to demonstrate skills in leadership and administration, be committed to working in an enthusiastic team, and be willing to contribute to the leadership of the Department. While preference may be given to the modern period, this post is open to all fields of research. This post is available from 1 January 2004 or as soon as possible thereafter.
