The United Nations Conference on Trade and
Development has released a summary of the meeting of the High-Level Panel on Creative Industries.
Held in São Paulo, from 13–18 June, 2004, the Panel comprised more than 40 eminent artists and
experts from the cultural community, industry, academia, international organisations and civil society from many parts of the world, both developed and developing.
The summary, prepared by the UNCTAD secretariat, outlines the discussions and conclusions of Panel members in point form.
