Wales gears up for arts marketing symposium

16 August 2004, United Kingdom

Plans are well underway for the Arts Council of Wales’ Annual arts marketing symposium, which will draw practitioners and theorists from across the region. The event will this year take place at the newly refurbished and expanded Theatr Mwldan, and will feature a collection of seminars, two keynote sessions by eminent speakers, trade stands and opportunities to network with colleagues. The symposium usually attracts several hundred delegates and has become recognised as the key event for arts marketers in Wales. Wales national Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru is a major partner of the 2004 symposium, with delegates treated to performances by the company. Numbers for the event are restricted and the Council is advising prospective delegates book early in order to ensure a place. For the first time, registration will be on-line, from September 27th, at http://www.artswales.org/ams For further information, CLICK HERE.
