19 October 2004, United Kingdom

Following the success of last year’s Wales Arts Marketing Symposium, the Arts Council of Wales is gearing up for the 2004 event, which commences on the 10th of November. Organisers say the symposium offers the best programme of its kind to date, providing delegates with a day packed with debate, discussion and information sharing. Two keynote speeches are on the bill – the first, from Louise Cogman, will explore the essence of a family friendly approach for arts organisations; the second, from Tony Anderson, called ‘gorilla marketing’ will examine the potentially far-reaching benefits that ensue from a can-do attitude and innovative marketing approach. The day will also feature a broad range of seminars covering topics from branding to emarketing to direct mail as well as advice on taking the first steps towards marketing planning and building touring company/ eceiving theatre relationships. Arts Council Wales will be presenting an update on several key projects and a number of trade stands will be in attendance. Closing date for registration is October 29th, with only a limited number of places still available. For further information, CLICK HERE.
