At its meeting this week in Hanoi, Vietnam, the IFACCA board advanced planning for the Third World Summit on the Arts and Culture, and signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Summit hosts Arts Council England, North East. The Summit will be held in NewcastleGateshead, England, on 14-17 June 2006, and will explore the theme of art and culture in community and regional regeneration.
