Position overview The occupant of this position reports to the Chair and the Board of Canberra Arts Marketing (CAM) and is responsible for achieving agreed outcomes for the consortium. Duty Statement 1. Oversee the development and ongoing operation of all activities of the consortia relating to the Canberra Arts Marketing business plan. 2. Develop, secure agreement for, implement and continually review strategies to strengthen CAM’s position with its members, stakeholders and broader arts community. 3. Manage the activities and supervise staff engaged by CAM and provide executive support to the CAM Board. 4. Manage all financial activities relating to CAM including but not limited to grants and other funding acquittals, budgets and preparation of annual financial statements. 5. Report to the Board, Government and its agencies and other stakeholders as required. Selection Criteria 1. Significant demonstrated experience in working in a not-for-profit consortia, preferably within the arts sector. 2. Highly developed office and resource management skills and the ability to positively influence the productivity and outcomes of the consortia. 3. Significant demonstrated experience at managing cooperative marketing and publicity campaigns, including the communications role. 4. Significant demonstrated experience in representing an industry sector through all levels of the stakeholder base and seeking sponsorship where appropriate. 5. Demonstrated experience in developing the skill and professional base of practitioners and administrators in the sector.
