A new report - Arts in England: attendance, participation and attitudes in 2001 - has recently been published. The report contains the findings from new research commissioned by the Arts Council of England (with support from Resource: The Council for Museums, Libraries and Archives). National Statistics carried out the research the ACE, with over 6000 adults, late last year. The report includes information on adults attending, participating and accessing the arts via audio-visual and online media. There are chapters on attitudes to the arts, arts and health and regional patterns of engagement.
