America Needs a New System for Supporting the Arts

Bill Ivey, former chairman of National Endowment of the Arts, has published a paper in the Chronicle of Higher Education 'to begin a conversation about a new model for building a vibrant arts landscape.' Ivey suggests that policies which focus solely on the growth and development of the non-profit sector may have created a cultural inbalance.
