The Arts Council of Ireland wishes to appoint a curator for its Critical Voices 3 programme, which will take place between July 2005 - June 2006 (15 month contract). Critical Voices is a biennial programme introduced in the Arts Council in 2001 to bring international writers and thinkers about the arts and culture into contact with the Irish public in person, or through print and broadcast media. Working with Irish artists and arts organisations, the aim of Critical Voices is to facilitate and encourage the arts community and selected media partners nation-wide to provide considered critical reflections on the arts to audiences in Ireland and beyond. The curator is editorially independent of the Arts Council. Deadline for receipt of tenders is 12 noon on Friday 29 April 2005.
