The Australia Council for the Arts has released this listing of education programs and services provided for school-aged children and young people by Australia Council-supported arts organisations. The document has been produced as part of the Australia Council’s Education and the Arts Strategy (2004 – 2007), developed in collaboration with the National Education and Arts Network (NEAN) to promote the Australia Council’s long-term vision of the arts as an integral part of the life-long learning of every Australian. A diverse range of programs are provided by the organisations listed - both within and outside of school hours. Activities include residencies, workshops, student discounts to performances and exhibitions, creative projects for young people and various school-based and partnership programs.
