Chief Executive Cultural Industries Development Agency £41,000 – £45,000 Growing the cultural and creative economy of East London CIDA is looking for an exceptional individual with vision to develop and promote the company’s leadership role and take forward this successful creative industries agency. We would like to hear from you if you can combine experience and understanding of: economic issues and opportunities facing the creative industries sector social benefits to be gained from empowering communities to harness cultural regeneration opportunities business and skills needs of cultural and creative industries and can develop and deliver CIDA’s strategic vision as we build up to the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2012. As Chief Executive you will be responsible for ensuring that local creative and cultural businesses access professional support and development services, partnerships and brokerage to develop an inclusive creative economy in East London. You will have strong business acumen, management skills, financial experience, leadership and vision, an excellent track record of delivery, partnership building, social enterprise and funding contract management. Day-to-day responsibility includes managing CIDA’s extensive programme of enterprise support, a staff team of 15, an annual turnover c. £1.25m and working with CIDA’s non-executive board.
