The Mayor of London’s Disability and Culture Research

Mayor of London,
01 January 2006, United Kingdom

The Mayor commissioned research to investigate the extent to which disabled people are catered for within 60 major mainstream cultural institutions in London. The specified number of 60 cultural institutions, 15 each from arts, sport, heritage and libraries, was chosen to represent a manageable sample of agencies to research in detail. The objectives of the research were: to establish a benchmark, identify good practice and gaps in provision of resources and services across the cultural sector for disabled people. This report sets out the main findings of the research. Download the pdf HERE. Download the text file HERE.
