The Culture Finance project, first developed by Arts Council England, North West has now been rolled out to include Yorkshire. Culture Finance helps creative businesses prepare to access various types of funding and aims to increase the availability of all types of finance to the arts and creative industries sector. During the first phase of Culture Finance, ten emerging arts organisations will receive business diagnostic services, plus small grants to help them with marketing and business planning. The focus is on minority ethnic organisations and those in disadvantaged areas. In the second phase, information will be provided on loan finance and access to loans, with networking between loan providers and the arts organisations.
