The Australia Council for the Arts has produced a new report on our cultural industries--Artswork 2: A Report on Australians Working in the Arts.
Artswork 2 provides a statistical overview of the millions of Australians who are involved in amateur and professional work in the arts and culture. It is summarises data on the numbers, demographics, income and education of artsworkers.
The report was prepared by the National Centre of Culture and Recreation Statistics in the Australian Bureau of Statistics on behalf of the Australia Council.
