The Shanghai Cooperation Organization is meeting in Uzbekistan this week. The intergovernmental international organisation was founded in 2001 by six countries; China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgystan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. This will be the third meeting of the culture ministers of the member states of SCO, and will take place on the 27th and 28th April 2006.
